I don't know, maybe the VOR is a one-trick pony and might not run again. Only 9000 active at the start of leg 10 and a ton of inactive boats this time (as you notice by doing something and passing 179000 in a day).

It'll be interesting to see whether they tweak the weather vs. projections and whether they continue to have little islands where none show up.

I also think that no USA boats are in the top mix because of the wind change times being so different than in Europe...but, hey, it's their game and that's fair for them.

Ktug, after all this, have you decided that the computer stuff you bought worked for you or not?

I've got the ktug and luigs boat and to tell you the truth i really didn't use the extra toys all that much with the ktug boat. I think the only time it really helped me is when i used the auto sail change. I really doubt i'll buy the toys next time due to all the glitches that screwed me more than the add ons would ever help.
Good race Menz...unfortunatly i sailed into that southern cove and that was game over for me.

Last time I used the toys was at the start of Boston Galway. I had the auto wind angle on and I circled Boston harbor before heading off.

If you add a boat they put you in mid fleet. The race is on its way to India now. You just jump in once in a while and reset the course depending on wind, current and sail angle then let it go.
