Looks like I was almost perfectly positioned for the overnight run. I have my dead Comcast cable connection at the house to thank. I wasn't able to monkey around with the heading after I left the shop and the result is I went port of the dead air. I probably would have gone into it had I been able to navigate on the net.

I'll be out of town for the holiday weekend so if last night is any indication I expect to be in first place when I get back Sunday night. I'll let the boat find it's own way till then.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Big movers... Up

+1 -Lickety Split has re-taken the lead !! Yeah! ( No disrespect to Reel who is killing us all)
+5 -Menzies.. who drives all of us nuts here and we know has too much computer time ... Is driving a decent ship - +5 Good job
+3 Craven - Banana - Nice recovery
+2 Nail it - Tuesday - very close to the lead boats all...

And welcome aboard to the THE FLYING BRUCE who Debuts at 19

Big Movers - DOWN

-6 LA Vela.. Dang... Menzies passed you... (j/k)

BTW... Look of the coast of india. There are a ton of little islands out there and you have look out for them. They are really small, but they are there.

A buddy of mine is running a boat called MIDNIGHT RUN and yesterday in the middle of the ocean he crashed. Look him up. Right where his path zigzags zoom in all the way. There is a tiny tiny island there. He couldnt even see it till he moved the boat and zoomed in 100%. Where it is i am suprised none of us hit it.

Keep your eyes out.

I think it will depend on if it looks like they get there. If in the middle of their night they will leave them all to starboard. If suring the day they should be able to navigate through them.

You drunk landlubber! You told me you knew a shortcut!

Now that its Turkey day time I'm going to have less time to be online....hope the boat knows where its' going...

I'm hoping to get northwest enough to have a nice downwind spinnaker run to the end. we'll see..

Good Dr. G.,
You are beginning to sound like the admiral, she says the same about my shortcuts around town. LOL
Thanksgiving, Hunting and College FootBall at NCState this weekend leaves me with close to 72hrs of little to no input...soon it will be time to make a straight run to the final can.
Enjoy Thanksgiving everyone!!!
