Good luck.

Thanks, ant1. Good luck to you, and the rest of the gang. I predict wmalloy will do well this leg, since he will be up with the new baby changing diapers/feeding/rocking etc. Some guys will do anything to win a leg of this game, even have children.

thanks for the heads up nicmegmatt, hard tack to the south soon. those people preventing the movement of the beatle sure are persistent, wish my crew was as dedicated to their job, but instead of a race to the finish its a race to see who can drink the most.

Midnight Run and Hooter Scooter say, "dam the bouys...full speed ahead!", as we head between those markers.

What's the reason for having TWO markers?

Why are there TWO markers?

(I know, I know, should've read the instructions...but don't want to break a lifelong habit of just jumping into things!)

BRIEFING / SAILING INSTRUCTIONS
LEG7 – Volvo Ocean Race Game
Boston to Galway
Departing from Boston on 16 May 2009 at 13:00 Boston local time ( 19:00 CEST / 17:00 GMT), the fleet will pass the North Atlantic Gates NA1 and NA2, leaving the Marks to port side before heading to Ireland and Galway.
As usual, we remind you that you cannot be connected at the time of departure, your boat will be launched automatically at the best angle for the first few hours of the race, until your first connection. However, we cannot guarantee that the boat will take the optimal route.

This is going to get interesting at the first marker if the winds stay true! I think I can get to the marker and pick up 30k+ spots! I do better at this game spending less time. :-(

Wmalloy382...congrats on the new baby. We had a big baby too she was 10.88 pounds 22.5 inches...perfect redfish tournament size!

Happy Sailing

It's going to be a goat phuck at the mark

I think I'm going to be barreling in on port but since I did my penalty circles at the start I should be good to go
