Why will he be DQ'd? so long as heads east, north of New Zealand, he should be fine?
Actually, I was assuming he was going to make a run at a western passage just for fun. If he heads east hell be fine. But hes so far back he may as well go west now...if only for the gag.

also, I just looked at the guy in first place. Anyone else think he's just going for it now just for the number? No way that route pays off. But hell. I've been wrong before....Boat is Sonolento. 1st... for now.

Yeah but did you see the boats shadowing him move for move since the start. I was wondering if he was doing that to really screw them up!

I can't see how those guys stayed in the top 5 all day. They won't be there for much longer though. Menz, hope you got a good night watch posted with all the damn little islands we're about to go by.

Im glad you said that. I just zoomed in and saw all the little specs in the ocean we were coming up on. Menz and I are the only ones still left up north... Gonna be one sleepless night for the crew..

We won't get to those islands based on current speed until noon tomorrow. My biggest worry is if the forecast stays true then I will need to turn south more and right into the middle of the chain. If it stays where it is I can get north of them.

Ktug, you're headed right for an island!

Hmmm. THT will be down for approx. eight hours tomorrow. If any of you guys need me, I will be on the onejacker at VORG. Hopefully no one will jump off any tall buildings because the site is down. I plan on actually doing some work tomorrow.

Just spent 12 hrs in a vortex. Looks like the guys to the west are going to hit it for the next 24.

I've been having those problems also. I thought it was because my computer (7 year old laptop) was slow.
