I take exception to that.

Going east is a move to catch the next wind shift at 5. Making the right move ( i hope) at the start doent make me a groupie. About half the race went east including the winners of the last 5 legs. Im not calling anyone a groupie that finished after me last leg and then went east on this one.

In 18 hours I've gone from #1 to 151600...and haven't even found an island to crash into yet.

Lost 10000 places with a broken sail. No explanation given as to why, just that it is now broken and I can purchase a new one.

7000 isn't a big deal at this point of the race. Heck, I was at 151600 this time yesterday and now its about 20000, so places are just numbers to make you feel like you're doing good or not. I think the guys heading east are going to shake up the standings in about three days when they get back close to the line.
I'm just guessing, though. Can't connect to their server.

One question

I ain't going to pretend I can figure physics and stuff like that. Nor have I ever been on a sail boat.

But how in the heck can a sail boat go faster than the wind is blowing?

hehehe. Sorry about the mast thing, Slurp. Nicematt is a monster on the throttle. I wonder how long until I see something like that on my boat. Must say I wont be spending any money on this game. Rather put gas in my Meals on Wheels ride to take food to the old folks. However, if I did spend money here, I would buy half of Nicematts rig!!!

Reading this page of comments has made me laugh. Thanks, fellas!

Race on!
