Default Are their BOATS in NASHVILLE???

I'm getting excited 'cause the wife and I are flyin' to Nashville this Saturday to visit my son and his girlfriend for a few days!!!!!

We're already "set" for backstage passes and seats at the Grand Ole Opry, an "open mike" place that has all BLUEGRASS musicians/singers, and the INfamous Wildhorse Saloon!!! My son and I went there (Wildhorse) the last time I was out there and we got home at 3A.M.! The wife didn't go that time! If you've never been there, it's QUITE a place - BIGGEST dance floor I've EVER seen!

My wife has never been to Nashville, so my son (Corey) and I are making SURE she sees a LOT of "country music" - she's a BIG "country" fan!!!

Corey and I will tour some GUITAR stores, "Music Row", and maybe a "blues bar" - he has an acoustic guitar, an acoustic/electric, and 2 other electrics, plus a keyboard, soundboard, and some other recording stuff set up in a "home studio"! NOBODY will get any SLEEP!!!

MY CONCERN IS that I will have "THT WITHDRAWAL" for 4 days!!!!!!!

I WILL have my "boatdigital" with me, so I'll try to get "a" boat pic if I SEE one!!!

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE HAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!

Regards,
Bruce W

Enjoy Bruce
Nashville is great you've got most of the good stuff covered
But if you get a chance take a lil side trip to Lynchburg tour the Jack Danials distelery
It's free and if you sign there visitor book they send you funny stuff for years
They just WON'T give you no booze I tryed, they kept saying something about Dry county
Anyway It's a great tour

Just got back from Nashville Bass Pro today.

I had to spend a couple of days in Kentucky and Illinois, no time in Nashville other than the 1/2 hour in store on the way back to the airport.

Since your going downtown don't forget to stop in at Tootsie's Lounge.

Whatever you do, please try to eat The Stockyard, last time I stayed in Nashville we went two nights in a row.

Scott

Thanks for all the info, guys!

We're goiong over to the Opryland Hotel right after the "Opry" to see that place - have heard it's BIG and NICE!

May have to check out "The Stockyard" - sounds VERY nice!

Hope you get this in time. Lot's of good striper fishing down there, so check out a charter if you can. There is a Bass Pro Shop, they ought to be able to hook you up. Also, I'd bring a small 3 piece freshwater rig for some shore fishing from any of the lakes. I was working in an industrial park outside of Nashville in an are called MetroCenter (nice lake in back of where the titans practice). Broke my heart every day I went to lunch that I didn't have the rod & reel with me. Watch out for snakes though, saw a few of them alongside the shore of the lake.
