This is funny. Some guy with no training, no experience, no funding, no anything but a desire built himself a deep sea submarine, did it, is now cruising around as deep as 2100 feet below the surface in his homemade submarine.

Interviewer: "How do you test that design?"

Stanley: "Take it down. That's the cheapest option."

In one of the videos on the bottom of the ocean, Stanley has a fish tied to a pole and attracts a gill shark...with the Jaws music in the video.

There is a Black Lab/Pacific owner in DE that built his own sub. I guarantee there was no time spent around a conference table on his either like in that vid. He made it out of a propane tank! He said he used it for about a 10 year period but hasn't used it in the last 3 or 4 years. It had only been down about 200'. Oh yeah, it looked like a propane tank too!
