Congrats twentynine. Great news! I don't know what I would have done without my parents around. My girls consider them their second parents. La famiglia!

Congratulations twenty nine! My first granddaughter born 1 year ago, and another on the way from other sons family, its a whole new world. Some of my friends told me how great it was going to be when the first was due, but no matter what they said I was still not prepared for how wonderful a feeling and how much love is built in for grandchildren. All the best.

Thanks guys, I am walking on cloud nine!

Hey JT
My grandchild is going to be a Texan, I guess. No matter, I still want him. Son-in-law, is presently stationed at Randolf AFB, San Antonio, for flight training. Galvez, La. to San Antonio, 488 miles one way, I am going to need a new truck.

Congratulations 29er. I have a 12 yr old daughter (calls us everynight before she goes to bed) and a 7 yr old grandson (I've taken him for every haircut he's ever had and we argue everytime about whose going 1st).
Make memories with them. They will cherise them long after you are gone.
Also, remember, if your son-in-law gets transferred to Pope AFB that you have a "crew" of THT'ers right here. Several of us live here in Fayetteville which is home to Pope AFB and FT Bragg.

29,

alot cheaper than a new truck, go down to your local airport,
take a few lessons yourself and fly in for his first b-day.

My parents tell me that Grandchildren are the best revenge... I wondered what they mean by that but well then I keep finding out a little more every day.

tarnold

Son-in-law will be flying some derivative of a Herky Bird, so Pope AFB is a real possibility.

Even without the grandkid, I miss my Daughter and Son-in-law very much, SA is a long way away. They have been in SA since March 10th, before that Montgomery AFB. We are planning on a trip to SA in April and another in June.

I have trouble walking without getting dizzy, can we say vertigo with a capital V, and let's not even talk about my legendary sense of direction. I will stick to a truck and boat the world will be safer.
