Seattle, WA -- Seattle Police, Fire, and Harbor Patrol responded to a boating collision on Lake Washington just before 9 p.m. Saturday night.
According to Seattle Fire, one person died and four others were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Seattle Police Spokesperson Renee Witt tells KIRO 7 that two boats were involved in the accident, a power boat and a sailboat.
The driver of one of the boats is a 17-year-old male, who was injured. A female in a second boat was deceased at the scene, Witt said.
Randy Johnson, Marina Manager of the Lakewood Marina, told KIRO 7 Eyewitness Reporter Graham Johnson that he saw the sailboat leave about 6pm for an evening sail.
Police and fire officials are still trying to sort out what exactly happened.
