Default Boatpix.com

Boat Pix took a picture of me running across the bay Sunday. Has anybody dealt with them? I wish I could see sample pics before they send them.

good company from what i have heard. you go to the website and fill out your info keep whatever pics you want and send back the ones you dont. not that cheap but neither is chasing boats with a helicoptor.

I saw a bunch of pics the previous owner of my boat had taken by them and they are great shots, great quallity. They can be expensive but then again, you will pretty much never be able to get shots like they offer on your own unless you rent a helicopter.

I think they send you a bunch then you return what you don't want. Something like that

Wish they would come down to S Jersey.

Ditto what everyone has said. I do not know of anyone that took a look at pics of their boat and did not pick up at least one or two.

im pretty sure they take the best 3 pics that they take and photo shop your boat to remove bottom growth or fenders anything that doesnt look good. then you can pick one and send the other 2 back or take all 3. basically you pay for 2 but get the third for free. large pics too. check out the website.

Thanks for the info. I am going to contact them and will probably buy at least one. Always wanted a good picture of my boat, especially a running shot

They took a few shots of my boat during a tournament, I called and gave them my registration #'s. They do it a only a few ways, mostly you pay for 3 prints up front, then they mail them to you, you pic the one or two or three you like and they subtract the difference. you don't have to buy any of them but you do have to send them money up front first... they take good pics and are decent $... i thought they where on drugs for how much they wanted for a photo, ,,, but they i stopped and thought about it... there isn't going to be EVER a better pic of my boat running through the water, so i sprung for it...
Does my Signature photo look like it might have been taken from the air??? And yes they will come to jersey for major tourneys, mine was taken about 1 mile off Manasquan inlet at about 6:00Am

I agree with everything said so far. Pricey, but very good pics. My signature pic is from them.

Yes, but you either order and buy unmarked ones or return them. Not like you get to keep them.

And I think there is a shipping charge if you do not purchase.

They have shot my boat 3 or 4 times now, and I have checked out all of the pics. Very nice job with the photos (wish they could photoshop a few lbs off of me). They get pretty big money for the pics, but you will be hard pressed to find any better shots than they provide. I have never bought any, as Viking shot my boat for promotional images, and I have copies of those, but the Boatpixs shots are right on par with the images that Viking's guys shot.
