Need some suggestions

I am thinking of taking a few days off for this labor day wkd, interested in going up to the destin beach area in the Fla panhandle. I am looking for a nice resort on the beach to take my family. Any suggestions?

Thanks Domino Effect, but I am looking for some local knowledge of the place. I have already done the internet homework, but that does not tell me the "real story".
