I am curious if you boys in S FL know you have a pretty good baseball team down there in the Marlins, the reason I asked is every time I see
highlights from a Marlin's game I am amazed at how many empty seats I see and this does not change if they are winning or loosing.
Just curious as to why baseball is not a big draw since you have such good NCAA teams and a lot of very good high school and little league players to come out of the area

Correct me if I am wrong, but the Marlins have made some pretty unfriendly fan moves in the past. They also tend to dismantle the team for after having a good winning team, such as the WS team from a few years back.
Basically the club alienated the fans, now they are looking to move because no one shows up to the games.
As for the Rays, no one really got into them at the start, and most in FL were already fans of another MLB team because they were either from somewhere else originally or they followed the local spring training team. The fact that the Rays were horrible up to this year didn't help.
I was born and raised in sw fl and I am a Cubs fan. We had two teams that we could watch during the season on a regular basis. One on WGN, and one on TBS.
