Okay, driving on I-84 this morning on the way to Boston I got pulled over by an unmarked Dodge Charger... Anyone wanna guess how much its going to cost me for doing 86 in a 65?
Its over $100
Oh well,

Wmalloy, where'd you get pulled over. I know the Long Beach Police are using Dodge Chargers, I think NYPD Highway also uses them. As much as it sucks to get pulled over those make some pretty bad ass cop cars.
That might be the cheap part. Points on your driver's record might make your insurance go up. And you may be lucky. If I'm not mistaken, here in PA if your clocked 20 mph over the speed limit, it's considered wreckless driving and you can lose your license for a year.

Highly suggest a ticket service. They are law firms that specialize in traffic issues. Perhaps Fl. is different but Ticket Angles got me off the first speeding ticket in 10 years. 68 in a 45. Ticket price was 270$ plus points on the record and insurance $$. The result was an 80$ fee, 103$ court costs. Case closed, no points nothing, done.
Well worth it in my case. I sure hope they operate in Ct.
The best of luck.

Yep, just checked the tic again. They have it at 85 in a 65. I'll bet the guy was doing me a favor and rounding down. The car was a dodge carger, All black. I wanted to get out and take a look at it by being a busy highway and all I decided not to...
Getting closer though.. over $200 ... Doh!

Actually, You DON'T disagree with me. You THINK you disagree with me, but you're mistaken. You're simply experiencing an illusion caused by the limits of your comprehension. -Dilbert
Who cares about the $150 - $200 ticket. Every time I walk into Boaters World it cost me $100. I still go anyway. The problem will be the insurance due to the lisence points. Its either that or pay a lawyer to get it reduced. I don't know anyone who gets excited about paying lawyers either.
It should be 210.00 unless they added a few items
50 for the first 10 over, 10 for every 1 after that, and 50 for the head injury foundation or some other cause.
I haven't had a ticket in years (just lucky) but know they are not cheap.

I've never been a racist. I don't like the white half either.
$330....at least that is what it cost me in Ga when I was last caught doing 82 in a 55 mph section of I-75. Now the bad news. I also paid for my BIL's ticket, $330, since he was trying to keep up with me when we got popped.
