Default Years in the senate...

With fatboy on his way to meet his maker, there's alot of talk about how long these scumbags waste our money in the Senate. I heard on a radio show that that senile old fool spector was number 16 on the tenure list at 28 years. 28 phukking years? Does anyone else find the hackdom of these tax-fattened hyenas antithetical to good gubmint (if there is such an animal)???

The solution is simple. All we need to do is get Congress to pass a term limits bill that will limit them to, say, two terms.

Why do I get the nagging feeling that the sitting Congress would never pass such a bill ???

Speaking of years in the Senate, did you see senator KKK Bird breakdown yesterday over his buddy Ted? What a loser.

Seemed like some very serious emotions for a "casual" relationship.

problem is it takes that long to get to know how things go and how to get things done

i say two term limit and you can run again if you want.. but if you lose...death

the problem is people who vote a straight dem. or rep. ticket. the people can inforce there own term limits by voting out all incumbents. but sadly this will never happen just like congress will never pass a term limit bill.

I have been saying for years that there should be term limits. The problem is that they would have to make that law, and I can not see that happening.

Is there a way that we can as citizens demand term limits? Imagine the work that might be able to get done if they are not worried about getting re-elected.

I will be right back.......................gotta go and light up my crack pipe.

It would take an Amendment to enforce term limits. The Constitution does not allocate term-limit authority to anybody so a law could be challenged and would likely be voided by the courts. Same problem getting it through Congress though.
