Just think about what you are implying. That blind people are not taxpaying members of the public?!! That they are sitting around on the sidewalk selling pencils with a tin cup and a seeing eye dog, and sponging off your tax dollars. The few that I know are well-educated professionals, and probably pay as much taxes as you do. They often travel alone, to conferences and on vacation. He!!, they even think they are normal. Why should they walk into a store and give a clerk a twenty for a fourteen dollar purchase, and get two dollars back as change? Maybe they should hire a fulltime personal assistant so that they don't tax the limits of your generosity.

The pittance impaired individuals financially contribute to meet requirements that benefit ONLY themselves is barely measurable. We have lousy healthcare, lousy schools, people living in substandard conditions, and FINITE resources. Which is more important..the welfare of the masses, or some guy who can't tell the denomination of a bill?

You noticed that too. Always makes me laugh.

(OK, I will admit that it's prob. cheaper for the maker to have braile on all the keypads they make, rather than run two runs and need to segregate inventory.....but it still makes me laugh.)
