I’m trying to figure out the best way to mount a Dexter E/H 1600 brake actuator on the trailer. I thought about getting a small aluminum tool box, mounting it to the frame, and mounting the actuator inside the box. It seems like a fairly sturdy unit, but some order of protection couldn’t hurt.

Anyone have this actuator mounted on their trailer? If so, how? Pics would be great.

Bigger Hammer

Not a Dexter, but I chose to put my E/H actuator in a keystone-shaped (triangle with a flat front) box on the trailer. Also serves to store lots of other stuff that used to fill up the back of the truck.
