Default Old ships of the past

I like to read about old ships from long ago, especially before 1900. (I know I need to get a life ) But it amazes me that they could build these huge ships before the technology of today. Anyway I was reading the latest Smithsonian and saw an article on the Great Eastern. So after a little research I came across the following web site which has some great information on old tankers and ships back then.
