I'm torn. On one hand I am a UT fan, having lived there during the Peyton era, but on the other hand I am sick of Fulmer and I believe he needs a win here.
Phil's not going anywhere. They announced a contract extension and pay raise was already in the works now that he has taken the Vols to the SEC.
It's hard to say too much about Phil considering his track record. I really don't think he's the problem, assuming there is one.
I agree...Phil aint going anywhere....TN better generate some offense in the 2nd half...if they dont LSU may look like crap..but they are generating some offense and that will make the difference if nothing changes. My only positive is that we beat the snot out of TN and if TN wins today....wont that be a bitch Oh well...thats football......SEC football

You are probably right but they stumbled into this game. Fulmer gets so little out of so much..wins the odd big game (ie GA), squeaks by lousy teams, they were a combined field goal better than Vanderbilt and KY which could have meant 7-5 not 9-3....
Well THAT my friends was a typical SEC football game!!! A nail biter until the very end.
As Freebird has already posted, on ANY given day, ANY SEC team can beat the other. You can NEVER predict what is gonna happen.
NEITHER team has anything to hang their heads about. One "Whale" of a game.
Now it is time for the SEC teams to all go kick some tail in the bowl games.

Well Freebird you can't win them all, and frankly they should have lost the previous 2, so I know your expectations were not really that high, were they ? GA should have been doing those Tigers Doggy style.

Yeah, TN pulled the last couple of games out of their rear ends, but it would have been nice to seem them sin the SEC. Trust me, I won't lose any sleep over it.
They held their own with LSU though. Too bad Ainge threw those interceptions that late in the game. Hope your Dawgs do well in their bowl game.
