Default hardware: where can I find this latch ?

I've tried a few internet searches, but came up empty...

If you have any knowledge of where to find a latch like pictured below, I would be appreciative.

If I just knew the correct name for it, it would help in my search. The latch "catches" on its own when pushed to. (I guess you might say the little white part is spring-loaded?).

While not a marine part, I thought someone on THT might steer me in the right direction.

Thanks

Drifter,
What type of door is that catch on? You might want to try McMaster - Carr.

Another place to look would be Southco.com.

Good luck.

The part with the white gizmo is called a "hasp" , the other part is the "staple" I dont know of a supplier.
