Garbage Disposal and Dishwasher on Same Circuit?? - The Hull Truth

Is this allowed? On my circuit break the dishwasher and disposer are on the same switch. It is a 20 amp switch.

I only have one CB for the whole kitchen. Only have problems when the toaster, coffee machine, microwave and dishwasher all work togeather. It may be different rules here as the CB simply has to be sized to protect the cable.

I would put the DW on it's own CB and pick the GD up on another CB.

I have my DW on it's own CB. Don't even want to talk about a disposer. I'm on a septic treatment system, it don't need kitchen waste.
