Group flight discounts? - The Hull Truth

Is there a such thing as group flight discounts? I am trying to book a flight for as many as 10-14 people. Flight is not until May of 2008 and they are already $150 more than a month ago. I would rather walk but it is a cross country flight. Air flight in this country sucks but I can't drive cross country.

Any suggestions? Cabo is the destination.

Contact a travel agent. Seriously. They probably have access to these things.

So far, I have contacted 3 different travel agents. Gave them the information and never heard back from them.

Hey Tim. I was very happy with AAA Tavel for my Hawaii trip. They saved me a bunch of money. It would have been well worth the price of membership just for what saved on this trip alone.

Have a family member that owns a travel agency. Book 10 seats, the 11th is free. That's the norm for group rate airfair.

I am planning on it if I can get the wife to drive me down. I had my second shoulder operation in less than a year and will not be allowed to drive for another month. We just talked about going to the Ft. Lauderdale show last night, so I think it will happen.

Try the airlines directlybut dont hold your breath. If you are planning tings "a la carte" yu will probably be be out of luck fr the air. The magic number for hotels is 10 or more. If you use a tour company, or buy "packages" from a travel agency you may be able to count one or two people as "escorts" or organisers and get a freebie.

You can then count that towards the 'pooled' cost or rewardyourself for all your hard work. Just make sure your companions never learn about that, or agree to it in advance. lol.
