Default darn spyware

Some how I checked a website and loaded some spyware on my laptop.

After I noticed this, I downloaded Spybot spyware fix software and it removed 95% of my problems except a little flashing icon beside my clock in the lower tool bar.

Every now and then it prompts me to download a different fix software.

I was currently running Norton 360, then I dowloaded Spybot.

Do I really need another one ? or are they trying to infect me again ?

Thoughts ?

Run the free spyware tool on the Yahoo toolbar - I have had luck with that one in the past.

Has this problem, talked to Dell Support, they suggested I download Spybot and AVG- Anti Spyware. Close all programmes and then run both at the same time. This should catch everything including the rogue icon. Make sure you update both programmes before you run them, this makes sure the latest version isapllied. Good Luck.

Download this. You may need azureus to do it. Best I've ever seen. You can bully through dangerous sites and not worry at all.

I ran Norton for years. Also McAfee. then I went to Spybot for a while. About a year ago I started with the Comodo programs, firewall, spyware, and anti-spam. I have been real happy with it, and its free.
