The Misses and I have been seriously looking for a new home in the country with some elbow room......and a shop for me. hehehe We've been pounding the pavement solid for the past 5 months......most weeks we'll do in excess of 300 miles running around.

We've have viewed more then 180 homes and have seen hundreds more in about 15 counties.

Man you wouldn't believe the scrap people live in!!!
Well we finally found one!

We've placed an offer and it has been excepted!!! I was the victor, it was my price not the vendors price that was accepted!
Other then I was in search of a ranch style home this property presents no other visible down sides to it, it is as close to our full pie as we have seen in our price range.
These are just the pic that were on the listing....no inside pics.
They are calling this a Cape Code style home, when I get done with her she'll be a Ginger Bread house.
Property address is 1 Maple Ave S.....that is a "T" intersection between two different counties.....this is a very quite area. Love the large front porch! I can see myself buying some very nice carriage lights to replace those piddly little things.
I guess I'll be learning how to make Adirondack Chairs.

This looks like a great place to sit back, relax and watch thunder storms roll by.
A HUGE full sized rap around deck w/ gas hook up for the grill, newer 7 person hot tub with surround sound stereo on a beautiful concrete slab, the solarium has radiant floor heat w/ ceramic tile floor, high end custom blinds and a pair of high end commercial grade 7' patio doors.
Fully fenced back yard with commercial grade fencing....great for dogs or kids if I had any. The children's play set will not be staying.....good as far as I'm concerned. This property has farm land on all 4 sides of us.

I'm just wonder if I'll be able to get off any clean shots on the roaming deer population?
This will be my garden shed, it's a full sized single bay garage.....fully insulated, vapor barrier, drywalled, hydro, concrete floor and man door.

The fencing on both sides of it is a built in dog run....it's got to be 150' x 7'.
This picture is all screwed up.

The colour should be a tan steel roof with beige steel siding. The proportion of the pic is screwed up as well, those are supposed to be a pair of R16 insulated 10' x 10' garage doors. The building is 35' x 50', w/ a blemish free polished concrete floor, R16 walls and R24 ceiling, w/ vapor barrier and drywall, separate overhead radiant gas heating system, separate 200 amp breaker panel, a fully certified paint booth and lots of built in compressed air lines/ hookups.
Just the other end of the property and view.

The house is in fantastic condition.......I couldn't find ANY deficiencies to write up! The house has a long list of new items/ features: new top quality carpets/ underlay through out/ including downstairs, new linoleum kitchen floor, "all" brand new high end windows and doors, "all" new top quality taps and shower fixtures, newer custom made kitchen cabinets w/ new counter top....this by miles is the best quality home we have ran across!!! This home even has classy fully hand textured ceiling in all the bedrooms!

The bathrooms don't even need a minute of my attention, but one day I'll replace the beautiful raised panel cabinets that are there for custom built superior quality cabinets.

Other then that the only thing that is really a strew in the whole house is the simple quality baseboard and casing......but I know I can make short order of that work.....custom ones fitting of a Ginger Bread house is what she'll get!
And if all that does make us happy enough there has got to be a 10 - 15 car driveway was made to handle 50,000 - 70,000 lb weight!

Plus then there is the professionally landscaped front and side yard......it's nice but it's not what I call fancy....give me a year or two and I'll fix that right up!
We are SERIOUSLY stoked right now.......I suspect there will be some PUI later tonight!
