Default Holy Pucker Factor, Batman!

Check out how once the guy finally gets the boat cranked he guns it over the wave, when all he had to do is ease into it, and the guys on the front must have been hurt pretty bad. Adrenaline must have been pumping so he just hit the throttle.

That's been around a while. I belive the boat is a Robalo. The vid was posted on one of the surfing magazine sites and the guy in the bow was a photographer taking pics at a competition. Bet that smarted.

I'm sure if it had been a lower tier boat it would have exploded on impact--or maybe melted.

That is hilarious.BTW whenever someone says "I was out in 8-10 footers and my boat handled great" ,refer them to this video,so we can call BS.

I've watched that video clip many times over these past few years and I've come to one conclusion........the skipper had the right idea IMO but his timing was off. To take the wave before it crested and broke would most certainly have been the best time to go over it, but his timing was just a bit off and he ended up taking it at the wave's worst time.
Sure wouldn't have wanted to been that guy up front!
