Actually I think its Ohio State's poor feable attempt to be like the "original" thug school. The one and only, "The U" meaning University of Miami..

Maurice Clarett was able to apply those those keen pronunciation skills on Court TV when he told the judge that he was "The Maurice Clarett"...
...He had to...how else is he going to communicate to & "teach" the kids of Florida that were watching... You forget that THE Ohio State University booted him out of school... without an invite back for football season.
SeaCraft... now you're ragging on Chris Leak? He's very well spoken. And part of yet another national championship team. And the Gators did it without having alumni promise six figure jobs after graduation to high school kids from Ohio , if they played football for OSU in the Woody Hayes days.
Maybe the hidstory department at OSU is sub-standard? Like the rest of that loser school?
