30' Sea Ray - Poke A Loke - was named by my son who was three at the time. He used to walk around all day and say - Poke A Loke, Dink A Link, Poke A Loke, Dink A Link, etc............. had something to do with a nursery rhyme.
40' Sea Ray - Family settled on - Summer Delight - We used to live on the boat in the summer while going from Block Island to Martha's Vineyard, to Nantucket. Did that for about 6 years - best summers of our lives. Kids really enjoyed the life and the boat.
29' Hydra Sport - Team Finchaser - My son and I head up Team Finchaser and we now have our second Hydra Sport a 2007 2900 CC and it is going to be one wild fishing machine. Lot's of tournaments coming up this year !!!!!
There have been about about 7 others over the past twenty two years but these have given us the best memoies.
I think that this is a great thread. A lot of interesting names.
I saw a big offshore boat in the Indian River Inlet called "T!tt!es&Beer"
And last year at the White Marlin Open, in the midst of all the the the big money rigs, came a beat up 19' or so, old as heck CC called "fishin' mo fo"
Not the funniest name, but the timing was comical.
When I lived in Michigan there were two that stuck in my mind. 1) a fishing boat I would see in Frankfort Mi, had about 4 downriggers on it and the boats name was "Dragon Balz" The second one was a pleasure boat named "Phantom of the Aqua" kinda funny.
The funniest name i have thought of so far but havnt had put it on any of my boats yet is
"weekend bender"
So, coming into port goes like this:
This is the "weekend bender, over"
if you dont get it, say it out loud to yourself a few times.
Saw a penis boat named "Floatin Felony". Wanted to name mine C-Toe or C-Hair but haven't had the balls yet. Probably the best I ever saw was "Never Satisfied". Ha ha, oh yeah...a big pink penis boat named "Pink in the Middle".
