I've always been challenged when it comes to naming boat. We got a new boat this summer and were in hatteras on vacation, arriving during Hurricane Bill. Walking on the beach that first day, the wash from a big wave, about calf deep, knocked her on her a$$ and washed here up the beach about 50 yards. She had sand in places god didn;t intend sand to go

Named the boat "Sandy Bottom" that week.

Several posts have mentioned The Muff Diver in Ocean City. Word is that Joe wanted to name the boat Lick-A-D-Spilt, but the wife wouldn't let him, so he named it Muff Diver

Behind a 40 footer with an inflatable dinghy on the platform.

Tender Behind was the name of the dink

I thought it was cute.

I'd like to call one Shipfaced. Think about it. "Where are you going?" "I'm going to get Shipfaced. Wanna come?"
