I was driving by the gas station near my house earlier, and i noticed something weird. I contractor (or so Im guessing) was filling up his slightly-new 2500 Silverado diesel. He had one pump feeding into his tank, and another feeding into a diamond-plate box in the front of his bed.

The box looked like a typical one found on most pickups, but he had one of the diesel pumps feeding into the top. What was he filling? I did notice a pump-mechanism of some sort on the other side of the box, on the top.

There are tanks on the market for the purpose of transporting diesel to jobsites for running machinery.

Fuel tanks. Some expensive ones are diamond plated and incorporated into the tool box. They are two different parts (the tool box and the tank) but are built as one. I've had 100s of em. None of them DIAMOND PLATED though. Sooner than later that diesel is gonna ruin the tank/toobox.
