Default 2 stroke power tools

The chainsaw thread got me thinking. I've made a decision to buy only Stihl branded equipment. I have a homelite brush cutter that has never worked properly since day one. I want the Stihl brushcutter that allows adding the pole saw attachment. Does anyone have one?

Before you go jumping in w/ both feet take a hard look at Echo. I just bought the 260 powerhead, the brush cutter, and the string line trimmer for Maine. Also available is the broom, hedge trimmer, and the chainsaw. Buy before 10 31 and get 30.00 off any item over 299.00.

All of these items work great. Most landscapers around here use Echo trimmers, blowers, and brooms.

I'll check out Echo. I've seen them everywhere.

I've got the full assortment of Stihl tools, sting trimmer, pole saw, 24" chain saw, hedge trimmers, blower, ect. Never had a bit of trouble out of any of them other than a few broken pull cords. IMO they are worth a moderate price differience, biggest reason is the available of service parts locally.

I have 10 backpack blowers, 15 weedeaters, two pole saws, two short hedge trimmers, one telescoping hedge trimmer, 6 chainsaws of various size up to the 440. All Stihl. I've tried switching to other brands more than once but always wind up going back to Stihl. Only problem I've had with 'em is flooding when trying the cold start. Easy to prevent once you get used to them though.
