Default fishing reccomendation

Hello all ,
I am recently new to boating or at list sort of.
I grew up on the bay & fishing out of chesapeake beach when I was a kid. Now I live in pasadena & my newly aquired boat is also there. I believe fishing as I remember has changed quite a bit since the Blue's ran the bay when I was a kid & from what I have been told it is all rock's now. I am just looking for some good suggestions for fishing spots up around the magothy/patapsco bay area. Any help would be appreciated.

Also, check out the Maryland DNR website - they have a consolidated fishing report for the upper, middle and lower bay.

If you have small kids, I have had fun his summer at the mouth of the Magothy. On the left and right side of the no wake zone (close to the crab pots) we have scored some fun little blues and spot. Croaker was strong at podickery point, and I love casting lures at the pilings on the bridge.

I can't help you with trolling, but My guess is you will see all kinds of boats out there this fall, and you can get a pretty good idea of where they are looking

Default Fishing Reports

This has worked for me far the last 30 years or so....

Call the Clyde's Fishing Report hotline at 410-247- FISH

It even works on Christmas Day!

Hope it's helpful
