Been sitting here at work all week waiting for tomorrow. Rigged up all my umbrellas last night and all tackle ready to go.....
Anybody else notice that tomorrow's weather seems to be getting worse by the minute.
Yesterday they were calling for perfect conditions in the morning,,,,Now it looks like rain in the morning with increasing winds.....
Anybody else heading out tomorrow??????
Story of my life I was actually going to work on the boat to get her cleaned up for the season and possibly some time on the engines. I guess I will have to bring her dirty to the get together next weekend..
South winds too. Makes for a nice steep chop on an ebb tide........ (They just posted a small craft advisory)

Hey Greg.....
Its the truth,,,,,this is the first boat I've had in 10 years,,,,I really want to get out there tomorrow...
Just checked the weather and there still saying 10 mph winds in the morning with 1 ft. chop...but showers.....
That dont do me any good in a open center console....Well Im hoping for the best when I get up in the morning,,,
Take care and I hope you get a chance to get some things done tomorrow....If I stay in,,,I'm sure my wife will come up with plenty for me to do.....HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!I WANNA FISH,,,,,

Checked the weather last night and it said the same thing for today (Friday), 5-10 knot winds with 1 foot waves. Went out at about 10:00 and there were some very large back breaking one foot waves in the open bay. I'm more apt to believe the small craft advisory.
My neighbor was out today and reported very large seas and no fish. I might launch tomorrow afternoon and stay within the Magothy for a little bottom fishing if the weather is descent, but that's about it.
If I'm gonna beat the boat, it will be chasing tuna, not pee-wee little rockfish!
Small Craft Advisory has been removed from the the Weather Underground marine page. It must have been for the breezy Friday afternoon with the wind out of the south and the ebbing tide. Its funny they were calling for 10knot winds and Thomas Pt Light was reporting steady winds at 22 knot winds at 6pm when we were considering going for a family boat ride. We will see how accurate they are tomorrow.....
Here are the reports and log from the Thomas Pt Light:

I got this big tree accross the street from me and that is my weather vain.If the top is bending I usually stay home.I also try not to fish on the week ends.
Went out Fri. Eve at about 4:30 PM. Windy from the S at about 20+ with gusts and incoming tide. The waters were rough at Turkey Point/Susquahanna Flats, but boated a 26" Rockfish. This was a good chance to see how the Laguna 20 handled. I.m happy...
Fished thursday, friday , Saturday and Sunday. I found out long ago to ignore the weather guys and make my mind up at the ramp. Also never be too big to run out and turn around. You could live to fight another day. I was very happy with my Parker 23SE out there.
