I am looking for a 501C to donate our family boat. She's been a good boat for over 20 years. Recently I ran out of gas and there was some kind of trickle down effect of bad luck. After replacing the fuel pump, which I thought was bad and replacing the filters, oil, plugs I noticed that I was getting water in the #4 cylinder. I could be as simple as the riser gasket (which was the problem before) or, I could have a cracked head. Regardless, the boat is going to charity. Does anyone know of a charity that will take this boat? It runs good (doesn't idle well - because of the water in the #4 cylinder). I did run the boat the 2 miles to Kent Narrows and put her back on the trailer. Please help.

Call the Sea Scouts, or the Wish-a-Fish foundation may benefit from this vessel. Put a post up on tidalfish.com and you will likely get some more ideas. There are more local guys there daily.
