Salt water fishing license in Virginia ???

Can anyone tell me Virginia requires a salt water fishing license to fish for striped bass ???
I'm in Mass and we don't have one here, but I'm going to be coming down to Virginia in a week.

Yes you do unless your fishing on a boat that has a licence ( most charter and head boats do ) or a pier that has one (most do ) are you bringind your own boat ? if you are you can get a boat licence covers everyone on the boat

I think you can also buy a "temporary" one (3 or 5 days - not sure?) for about $5.

Saltwater licenses here run from 1/1-12/31 each year.
