Holden Beach Marina did my old 17' McKee twice in the past. Decent job both times although ownership changed between paintings.

Ofish,
send me a note sometime. I fish out of Holden Beach.

The most reasonable guy around wilmington is going to be Wrightsville Beach Storage. Jimmie Vass is the gentleman that owns the business and you can call information for Wilmington to get their phone number. They are located off of Hwy 132 in Murrayville Station.

southport marina is still open? last time i went it looked like it was close to shutting down. They had torn down a lot of the dry stacks and the main marina building was closed "for remodeling". I thought it was sold for condo's? Hope and pray that isn't the case!

Ofish, sent you pm.
I traded a 1982 17' Southporter and moved up to a 20.5' Sea Pro this summer. Wish I still had the McKee too though. Bullet proof. Great boat. Wasn't self bailing though, so I never went out ot of sight of land.
I was spending more time working on the McKee keeping her running than I was using it. Then I lost the lower unit on the 1997 Mariner, and decided it was time to get something newer.

We need to get together and fish sometime. Wesley at HB Marine has helped me out several times. I have been fairly pleased with most of the work they have done for me in the past.
