Default Shameless plug?

I have been coming around the hull truth off and on for about 5 years.

I was wondering if it would be shameless for me to plug a book that I am just finishing up. It's my first, and is set in Carteret County, a quirky semi true and humorous accounting of my diving misdaventures with a character named Scotty. I am sure it would be of interest to those who love MHC/Beaufort and "down east".

I currently have the 1st chapter available as a free download and if Wiley doesn't mind, I will post a link. The entire volume will be available for download and paperback around the middle of next month.

You can get the free download of the first chapter at http://www.lulu.com/krosemond

The shameless plug is black and white on the inside with a color cover, designed to catch the "elusive readerfish". To effectively work it, it must be cast as far from the boat as possible, and if worked with a slow retrieve and quick jerking motions, will entice a strike from the smaller of the species, the "shallow readerfish".

A fast steady retrieve may yield a strike from the harder to catch and much larger and tastier "deep readerfish". Both are difficult to land and will swim by and look at the shameless plug with interest, but fail to make the effort to strike the plug.
