I going to drop my son of at Camp Seagull next weekend (7/14-7/16). Thought I'd make a weekend of it but need a hotel/condo/villa/house...whatever to stay in. Anyone know of or have a last minute place to rent for that weekend on or near the beach? Anywhere on the NC coast would probably work. I figure Seagull is 1/2 way up the state so I'm good to go wherever.

take the free ferry at Araphoe across the Neuse and go to Atlantic Beach. Call the Sheraton or the Clamdigger Inn. Both are Ocean front.

Yellow Fin gives good advice. Plenty of options around the Atlantic Beach or Morehead City area and the ferry ride will be your best bet.
