Hello all.

I'm in Charlotte, but I'll be renting a cabin in Holden Beach come August. I'd like to be able to rent a small CC boat so I can take my daughter fishing in the intra coatal waterway or a short ways offshore.

Any suggestions? Is there such a thing as a boat rental? Am I taking my daughter's life in my hands by renting a "strange" boat?

You can rent a pontoon boat from Mace's on Holden Beach (its on the waterway - beachside).

You can rent skiffs at the place that rents jet skis beside the bridge. It is on the right hand side just before you cross the bridge to get on the island.
