I am looking to take my 21 ft Skiff out of hatteras inlet during great weather and wondered about AR-230 Mr. JC. Anyone have experience fishing this wreck ? Are there any other any other wrecks or bad bottom that you would recommend for a smaller boat on a right day ?

AR 230 is a good place to fish. I have caught Kings, AJ's and even Mahi there. I imagine the bottom fishing there is OK but have never done it. A little advice. That inlet can get real bad. S, SE or SW winds and a falling tide can get real ugly. Conversely, a NW wind on an incoming tide really stacks them up. Sounds like you have a chart. Good Luck and remember, water flows out the inlet about two hours past low tide.
