We were headed to the stream out of Oregon Inlet. Before we got to it, we saw 8-10 charter boats trolling so we figured they were on to something. We trolled, threw everything except the kitchen sink and caught nada, nothing, zip. Heard on the radio on the way in that some of the charters boats got spanked also. We fished a couple of wrecks on the way in and caught some nice sea bass though.

Tarnold and myself fished the 100-400 out of Ocean Isle Sunday. The wind was howling and the seas were very sloppy. We fished for about two hours and called it a day. The fish were there we ended up with 4 dolphin between 10and 18lbs and one Wahoo around 35lbs. Lost a nice bull dolphin at the boat from a frayed leader. I dont think we went 15 minutes without a strike. We Had a nice Temp break of about 2.5 degrees 1/2 mile inside the 100-400. Lots of Dolphin right now.
I would have to say that it was one of the sloppiest day I have been out on in a while!!
The Company was great but the weather left alot to be desired. Mark

Nice hoo, guys.

The forecast was 3-5 so I slept in and went off the beach for spanish around 9am. The conditions within 3 nm were very nice but the FPS buoy reported 5 ft seas so I assume it got worse the further out you were.
