Default spanish for marlin

How do you save and prep you spanish for marlin bait from the time of the catch till it is ready for rigging.

Drop immediately into brine in cooler and then vacuum seal into the freezer

As soon as you catch them, gut 'em, brine them in ocean water with additional salt added.

Take out of brining solution, sprinkle with brining salt and either freeze in a vacuum pack or in water and freeze.

Do not wait til you get home to brine. Fresh is best and the meat will be mushy if not done right away.
