Default Lake Murray
I may be dated here...
Was watching the history channel last night and the show documented the retrieval of the bomber they pulled out of the lake. When was that ? and how is the restoration going ? It was truly amazing.

Autobahn (lives on Murray) posted some pics of the actual plane coming out of the water and being loaded onto the flat bed...... PM him and I'm sure he will share.......

the aircraft was trucked to al and was in too bad condition to be rebuilt so it will be displayed in the codtion it was recovered. the old bombs have been in the bottom since they were droped many of them were not live they were filled wuth concrete to simulate the weight and glide angle.
