Default Bulls Bay 230 review

Just thought I would through this up cause when I was doing research I couldn't find much. I just got the bulls bay 230 with a Yamaha 200. But unloaded will do low 50's loaded with 4 guys coolers and tackle in 2 footers would do 40. I have had it out three times so far and the worst conditions were 4 footers with a 4 to 5 sec interval handled it really well. The layout is awesome with lots of fishing room especially in the bow area as it is all a raised platform great for fishing on or throwing the cast net. But it also really affordable got it under 48,000 with trailer and electronics. I went through Greg's outboard in Holly Ridge and they were great guys. if anyone has any questions feel free to message me. Sorry haven't figured out the pictures yet.

Not a bay boat. The Bulls Bay 200 and 230 are the old Triton 195 and 225 hulls

Post pictures! Iv been look at these boats and its so hard to find any information on how they handle any sea. I would love to see specs with a 300HP on the back as that is the highest rated.

I saw one at the Palm Beach show and regret not going over it with a fine tooth comb. for the price and size, it cant be beat.

I just got a quote on the 200 CC with a yammy f150 for mid $40k range depending on electronics. That was from berkely outdoors of moncks corner (who i've heard pretty bad things about as far as customer service and quality work). Seems a little steep if you got 230 CC w/ a 200 yammy w/ electronics out the door for under $48k. I was also looking at the pioneer islander and sportfish models. I'm pretty sure they are the same hull as the Bulls Bay CCs (both made Carolina Composites LLC). Do you know if they sell directly or if the only way to buy is through a dealer?

They are through dealer and the price they gave you for the 200 is high. Maybe that is the starting price they gave you before negotiations.
