King Smurf and I will be wanting to get in as much fishing as possible before summer school starts.....looking to fish morehead and the sourrounding areas.....any advice? We're looking to find the bonita and the cobia. Also looking to find stripers in New Bern.

Any helpful information would be greatly appreciated!

Hot big gray trout bite last week near the marshes. 50 fish days easy. Few reds and a lot of specks. You know the deal with the cobia. When they show, you'll hear about it. Hard to say what this blow will do to their arrival.

I think the Striper action in New Bern has been pretty slow and spotty. Maybe the Cobia will be a little on the early side despite this past weeks blow. I'd appreciate a report from the beach that week if ya'll get a chance though. Wishin' ya'll tight lines and light winds.

So far, negatory on the Cobia, decent bite of whiting off the beach, Blues in inlet and 315, bonita been caught, , some one siad some spanish but i haven't heard from anyone i know yet, Found a nice bite in the nuese so Trolln'heel i'm gonna check out the river saturday and sunday if the bites on we might try it a day.

just to make sure on the Striper size limit in the Neuse River in New Bern........the minimum size is 18" and the daily creel limit is 3. Is this accurate??
