Default NFL Draft

Congrats to Mario Williams for the number one pick! 54 million over six years...............thats right, 54 MILLION over SIX years.

Should be interesting to see how the draft plays out. I don't get into the NFL too much but I do like to see where the acc guys go.

I'm looking forward to seeing Mario play next season.

He is incredible. At the combine he did 35 reps of 225 lbs and ran the 40 around 4.6 seconds. 6'7" and 295............all muscle. I saw him at the Olive Garden last summer and was like

its down right incredible that EVERYONE at espn and the national media were super glued to the idea that Houston was going to take Reggie Bush, HELLO! They already have a stout RB in Dominack Davis!! I think Super Mario could possibly be a HOFer. I hope the Panthers draft Lyndale White, if he's available.

just my 51.25 cents

Ralph, Looks like we picked up Deangelo Williams. Not too bad. He put up some good numbers at Memphis behind some not-so-good O-lines. Maybe he will fit in well.

o yea, good pick up for us! I sure am glad I had something to do today....NON-stop coverage of the draft, not my thing. Spent the day doing the spring cleaning service on the boat while checking in on the draft ever so often. As soon as the Jets' pick passed, I knew Leinhart would go to Arizona, close to home at least.

The NFL draft is the only thing that's been talked about on SportsCenter for the past month and a half, i'm glad MOST of it is now over.

Hey Brad, what were the #'s on picks from NC State? 3 in the top 25?? That's pretty good!!

Three of the starting d-lineman went in the first round

Pick 1: Mario Willams (DE)
Pick 22: Manny Lawson (DE, OLB?)
Pick 26: John McCargo (DT)

And Steven Tulloch went in the fourth round at 116.

Not too shabby but, man, did we take a hit on defense.
