Default Precision Marine in Goldsboro

Has anyone had any dealings with Precision Marine in Goldsboro (good or bad)? I'm looking at making a purchase from there and have never dealt with them or know of anyone else who has either. Your feedback is appreciated.

Randy Pulley is the owner and he is an old Outboard Tech from years ago that worked for Collins, Inc in Smithfield and then went in business for himself. Does a good job an is fair most of the time. I just tried to buy a 140 Suzuki 2002 from him but his wife quoted me $5000 and I told her she could keep the motor.

I went to a dealer in Wilmington and bought the same motor except it was a 2001 for a couple of thousand dollars less. If his price is good, you will be OK as he appears to treat people OK from what I hear.

Tell him Bob Brunson gave him a good recommendation.

I recommend them highly. The price I got on a 250 ETEC was the best I could find. (I was comparing 2006 to 2006 motors). I have several friends that do business there and all will speak well of them.

I bought a 2001 Southern Skimmer with 90 4-Stroke engine from Precision Marine. Got a very good deal. I took my boat to a place in Burlington for the first service. I went to the beach in June and the guy from Burlington forgot to reset the oil change alarm. The engine would go a little bit and then cut off. I had it in the Precision Marine Parking lot before they opened Monday morning. When I talked to Randy he said no problem. He took my boat first and 1 hour later it was ready. I went with him to the Neuse and we drove down the river to make sure everything was running ok. It was. From now on I let Precision Marine service my boat. Randy and his wife are very nice people. I would highly recommend buying a boat from Precision Marine.
