Default Hatteras April 17-23

Hope to get the cockpit bloody again. Looks like the guys are slaying the tuna when the weather is right. If anyone is in the neighborhood, please let me know.

Alan

What do you do for a livin' again?? Hopefully the wind will cooperate the week you are here this time. The reports look like a good year coming.

Will be in Frisco 18-24. We'll have a 19 Sea Fox & a 24 Pursuit and be rigged for surf fishing as well. Two charters with Rom Whitaker on the Release.

Well, I'm a headhunter, I think. 14 years now. It is a real pain sometimes but does allow me alot of freedom. My best fishing buddy started out as the antique restoration guy for the Vanderbilts at the Biltmore Estate. Now he runs his own shop and he has alot of freedom also. Our other buddy is a developer and he can take off on a whim also. When we go with just the guys for fishing, we pick one of the cheap little houses in the village to trim costs as much as possible. We almost have it down to about $125/day/person. Heck, I'd move there if I could talk my wife into it.

I hope you are correct about the winds. If we can get in three days we will be happy. Maybe we can buddy up sometime there.

You will really enjoy the time with Rom. He has to be the nicest captain on the island and he always puts you on the fish. He just started going out about two weeks ago I think. We will definately keep an eye on "Release" when we are deciding where to fish. I have a white SF 236, black t-top with 3 nuts in the boat. Call us on 1 or 68..."BigTeaser".

We will also have our surf rods. They are slamming the big drum at the point so if the wind blows, you know where I will be.

Dumbarse me didn't notice the Month!! I'll be there in May not April.

Keep me post if you'll be around then. Maybe get "Little" Owen to steam over and you guys can have a Sailfish flotilla. (just watch out for the skinny water areas, Owen)

If we can get Owen over at the end of the week, we may have a "Sailfish Triple". "bestins" is bringing his 218 down on Wednesday, I hope. If the winds cooperate, we will have a blast.

I somehow doubt the next post by killintimeinnc will be so nice after that Bernie. I might have to break the Sailfish posse up with the Sea Hunt though.

I appreciate that Bernie. If the weather cooperates Alan, will definitely try and get over there.
