George Poveromo is going to be in Wilmington next Saturday with local guides in his annual seminar series. Lots of laughs and a good way to spend a cold and usually wet Saturday.

As boat shows go this is the best one in NC. A lot of fishing stuff to look at. The price to get in is ridiculous though.

You're in Yadkinville so I think you would be better off going to the Greensboro show. I've been to both and pretty much the same stuff. But prices seemed better in Greensboro.

Are you talking about the saltwater expo or the raleigh boat show? They are different events.

We will be exhibiting at the show next weekend.

We offer a complete line up of Saltwater Offshore Lures

Please stop by and take a look....we will have good deals on dredges, spreader bars, teasers, and some of the standard/regular lures( Green Machines, Feathers, Ballyhoo rigs, etc)

Well, the one I am aware of is:

http://www.bassandsaltwaterfishingexpo.com/

I'm planning on going there this weekend...probably both Saturday and Sunday...one with wife and oldest son (23) and one alone so I can take my time

Most likely will not be in Wilmington again next year. That seminar series changes venues every year. Sometimes they do a return visit the next year to the same location but that is an exception.

I think last year there was one in Cary at the hotel near bass pro shops. If I recall correctly. Maybe it was longer than that

I have gone to the Saltwater Expo in RI a couple of times. My opinion is know what you are looking for and research prices before you go there. There is so much gear there it is overwhelming. Hard to know what is a good price and what is not unless you are really up on that stuff.
That being said, we always have a good time, try to catch a couple of seminars.

I'm pretty much going to look and learn rather than purchase. That said, I might be tempted to pick up a few little odds and ends that I am sure I will be able to use.

this add on the website must be from 20 years ago....500 dollar jon boats, all the way to 100,000 fully rigged fishing machines ?
crap, bass boats these days are pushing 6 figures
100 grand might buy you the motors and electronics on most of the big boats there im thinking

heres what it says.......

Looking For The Perfect Boat?

20+ Marine dealers will participate in this years event with the lowest pricing seen in years. Everything from the $500 aluminum jon boat to the $100,000 “Fishing Machine” Most units are “Rigged & Ready” for action. There has never been a better time for the boat buyer then right now. Ranger, Grady White, Sea Hunt, Carolina Skiff, Triton, Nitro, Everglades, Contender, Tracker, Pioneer, BullsBay, War Eagle, Wellcraft…. and so many more brands to get you on the water
