Default Looking for Charlotte Folks

Hi, I'm new here and I live in the Charlotte area. I love offshore fishing and try to do at least one or two trips a year, but I usually go along me which is good in some ways (Im always on the rod) but bad in others (can get boring and is quite expensive). I'm just looking to meet like-minded folks in my area who may be interested in joining up and splitting a charter at some point in the future.

You might find what you're looking for in the Charlotte offshore fishing club. I think they are in the Matthews area.

There is also the Piedmont Saltwater fishing club that meets up at Bass Pro Shops in Concord

I used to attend the meetings for both clubs and spent a lot of time with the guys at Bass Pro.

Also check out Saltwatercentral dot com. Lots of Charlotte residents who fish the coast there.

I live in South Charlotte and keep one of my boats in Southport and fish out of there.

I'm up in Huntersville. We keep our boat here too but once we finish getting it to where we want it we are probably going to find a place at the coast to keep it. I'm going to have to look into a couple of these local clubs as we are relatively green to the whole offshore thing.

I'm close by in Salisbury. I'm always up for getting together and meeting new fisherman. Can never have to many fishing buddies because when it's time to go mine usually scatter or are to "busy". Maybe a get together at the end of the month? BTW, name is Chris.

We all must be fairly close. I live down Beatties Ford just north of the Neck Road Access for Mountain Island Lake in the Barkley Sub Division. I keep the boat right down the road in storage.

Looks like I'm the outlier...I live down in tega cay on lake Wylie. But, I work uptown, so it would be easier for me to do something up north after work. If anyone wanted to meet on a weekend, we could possibly meet at Blackstone shooting and hang out in the lounge or shoot some guns in the indoor firing range. Just an idea.

I'd post something up on here. I bet you'll get some guys that come from the surrounding area.We do this with our Jeeps usually once a month. We typically meet at Twin Peaks in Concord or other establishments like them. They are usually able to accommodate larger groups with a little notice.

Whatever meet and greet happens, assuming I'm in town, I'll be there. Can never have too many fishing buddies.

I am always up for meeting up with some other fishermen. I live on mountain island lake and trailer my boat back and forth to Charleston when ever I get a window.

I'm in Concord close to the Concord Mills area. Send me PM. I fish out of Brunswick Co, and Morehead City, I have a place in Shallotte. I would like to meet some folks to fish with salt and fresh water. I fish anything from crappie to offshore. I can't say exactly what I do for a living because the mods may frown, but I'm in the marine and outdoors industry.
