Beaufort/Atlantic Beach area slip for 17' boat? - The Hull Truth

Looking for a slip the last week of June that is less than the $25/night that Anchorage Marina is asking. Been using Airport Marina for $10/night; however, they lost most of their slips to last year's storm. Any help in locating reasonable slip appreciated.

You might check with Billy Brewer at Fisherman's Inn in Atlantic Beach. He usually has a couple of slips.

The guys at Freemans get most of my business now that Aaron has passed. Good people.

Surprised nobody has bought the Inn and Freemans to build new condos since last fall. We have a place behind Jungleland and I am amazed at the new construction every time I go down.

It's not because they haven't tried

Some people just love what they do enough not to reach for the money. Small motels that provide clean rooms and dockage at decent prices for the average fisherman are a dying breed. There are only a couple left at Atlantic Beach and when they are gone in will be a sad day for those of us that can't afford property on the Crystal Coast.
