Default 280 Rocks

Plugging numbers into my plotter around Hatteras but cannot find these numbers or the numbers for Squirell Rock. On my chart, there is a pink area about 10 miles NNE of the Rock Pile and about one mile south of the Monitor. Is that the 280 Rocks...anyone have the coordinates in degrees/minutes? I am hoping this wind lays down about midweek so we can get in a couple of days.

Thanks,
Alan

I am stuck with a Lowrance LCX-15 until next year. I would appreciate the numbers anyway, I can input them manually or use MapCreate. I also have a GPSMap as my backup.

It sounds like you fish the area alot. We have been sitting here for over a week, ready to go, waiting for a two day weather window. We are hoping for two days anytime next week. I am going to leave my boat in Frisco since I plan on going there 2-3 times a month for the next four months. We will be there for July 4th week also. After that, I don't know where I will fish.

Thanks,
Alan

Got a question for you guys. If the 280 rocks are at LORAN 40280 near the 100 fathum curve , witch makes perfect sence , where did they get the 1250 rocks? 1250 dosent match up with lat / long or loran numbers.
I have asked a lot of folks about it with no real answer. Just wondered if anybody knows.
